Chiang Mai-January 2007

Moi is still in Chiang Mai.
Going back to Kuala Lumpur today.. Yeay!! Yeay!! can't wait.. tak sabar nak makan ayam (and tak sabar to see my beloved hubby too..). Well, i actually need some source of 'meat' inside my body other than 'seafood'. I have no idea on how to lower down my cholestrol level. Urrgh..

Btw, the team meeting was long but we had a lot of fun.
Chiang Mai is the cleanest 'small town' that i have been so far... and they have very nice orchid species too!! Chiang Mai's economic is mainly generated by tourism industry. Here, you can visit the native tribes, experience the elephant ride, bla..bla..bla...

It is currently winter season here at Chiang Mai so atmosphere is kinda great for you to lepak-lepak outside. Not really cold like Genting Highland lar but the air is pretty cool at night.

Shopping centres are not as much as Bangkok. There are night markets at a few locations where you might be slashed if you do not know how to bargain. Things on sale are pretty much the same like Bangkok. However, you can get really good craved deco items at Chiang Mai with cheaper price than Bangkok. Kinda looking for nice Thai silk but can't really lay an eye on a good one.

All in all, Chiang Mai is a nice spot for you to plan your vacation. Air Asia is flying direct from LCCT to Chiang Mai and if you are flying from Singapore, Silk Air also provides direct flight from Changi to Chiang Mai Airport. Other wise (like i am), need to fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok (which are always full) and then Bangkok to KLIA if you are flying with MAS or Thai Airways.

Till next time...Adios Amigos! 8-)

TKC 92/96 - 10th Year Reunion

The event was great! Many people attended the dinner (and hardly recognize some of the faces). All have grown up becoming young and beautiful mother and wife (well, some are still happily remain single and and waiting for their Mr Rights).

There were trivia and lucky draw sessions. Almost everybody were lucky and back with prizes. I was not lucky that night. Name was not called till end of lucky draw. :-S

Again, beloved hubby was not joining the dinner. He was at home completing his design thingy. Too bad he can't view part of TKCians 'madness' over college spirit. :-O

I was soooooo happy happy happy attending the dinner. Soooooo puas hati...Hope we will meet again sometime, someday.. Friendship remains!!!!

UKM Convocation

Alas!! Amanina has completed her Masters as she has wished!! The ceremony was great! The compound was filled with flowers and smiling faces of proud parents and graduates. Abah, mama, sister and beloved hubby attended the convocation, patiently waited for my name to be announced on stage to receive the scroll from Tunku Naqiyuddin. Everything was perfect and happy....

*only managed to save a few pix from my camera. Need to get more photos from my cousin's camera. Earlier on my camera tertinggal kat rumah (eyot!!). Luckily Ainul came in the afternoon and brought my camera.
